2021
Happy New Year!
I think this says it all. 2020 was certainly a rough year. But nothing is stopping us from taking care of our planet. Plant a tree. Plant a few trees.

Keeping busy
There are advantages to being an introvert. I enjoy my own company.
That said it's pretty strange when I go to town for necessities. Keeping a healthy distance.
Or when the neighbourhood kids wander over to our property. They range in age from 2 to 6 with two more coming within two months. I want to give them a big hug.
If only my dog wanted a big hug. Never! She hates snuggles unless she isn't feeling well or is scared. Poor hubby. Arms extended as he gets a big snuggle.
So while we are still quarantined, I'm editing my novel, listening to audiobooks, and knitting.

Knit Me
My current masterpiece, in progress ...
I'm limited as to how I can assist with the pandemic, but when I heard first responders were getting sore ears from the face masks, I went to work. I've lost track of the number I have made and donated so far

Thankfully, we can still go out for long walks and enjoy the sights, sounds, and yes, those lovely fresh scents. Those who follow me on social media know I love critters.
STAY SAFE! Virtual hugs

Sunrise
I loved our former home, but the sunsets were hidden behind the trees.
Mother Nature is in her glory and we are blessed with sunrises and sunsets

Welcome 2020
I'm ready to welcome a new year and a new decade.
Fingers crossed for bigger and better opportunities that lay ahead.

Family Day Weekend
What a February. We have had mild temperatures and we have had snow. Some serious snowstorms that closed down the town.
It's a great hobby while watching the television.
Fantastic family time with hubby and the dog.
She isn't sleeping. She is trying to inspire me to knit something special for her. Maybe next season 😉
So, I'm walking my dog, editing my saga, and I'm knitting.
Yes, knitting. I hadn't knit in years but found this small Canadian company that mails yarn, needles, and patterns. Everything I need to begin and complete my project. How sweet is that! I pick up my knitting packages on the way back from walking the dog. Sweet! Even Molligan gets excited and wags her tail.

Masterpiece completed...
I love this shawl!
I wish you could feel the silky softness around your neck and shoulders.
My latest project. Mitts to keep my hands toasty warm.
Knitme.ca provided a slight modification to the original mitt pattern offered.
I can't wait until I get these finished. I need a thumb.
FYI - If you lack the time or inclination, the owner does custom orders.
I saw a gorgeous crop top and coordinating skirt that she made.
